My name is Iakovos Hatzistavrou and I am a professional photographer and photojournalist working in Athens since 1987, working on Features stories and Documentary as a free lancer, covering outside the Greek, the Balkan and Middle East area, traveling all over the world for my assignments. During the last ten years I specialize in Human interest photography, doing Features stories focusing in every day human life and the most of the times under difficult circumstances.

Every day at 3:00 pm the Greek church gives free lunches to the homeless and poor people in the center of Athens. Almost 2000 people use this help every day. People from Greece, Legal and illegal immigrants, drug addicts, homeless coming every day and waiting in this line
